Year 12 Visit to Cambridge University

As part of their preparation for applying to Oxbridge University courses, a group of Year 12 students attended Gonville and Caius College at Cambridge University to explore their options for applying to competitive university courses.

Students had a tour of the university, attended lectures in STEM and Humanities subjects and engaged with current students who have previously accessed Oxbridge courses from a state school background.

The students also gained invaluable insights into how to write their personal statements and maximise their applications. The students all made the most of this amazing opportunity and have returned to school with a renewed enthusiasm and drive to fulfil their aspirations of studying at one of the country's top universities.
