As part of the Headteacher's presentation, our Sixth Form Head Students delivered speeches to the parents and students about the school's value of Participation and the wide range of activities and events they have been involved in during their time at John Warner. It was great to see these students developing their public speaking skills and confidence, and to be engaging so positively within the wider school community. #Aspiration #Ignite

Year 12 Lifelong Learning Workshops

The students have been looking at how to create a positive mindset, how to solve problems and how to manage challenge situations. The students have worked extremely hard to develop their understanding of some complex concepts which will definitely be of benefit to them during the remainder of their time at John Warner and beyond into their adult lives.

It was great to see so many students back in school, enjoying their first taste of life in the Sixth Form, and working hard to prepare themselves for the start of Year 12 in September.

Generation Broxbourne Careers Fair
On Wednesday 15th June 2022 our Year 12 students attended the Generation Broxbourne Careers event at the Spotlight Theatre. This event was organised by the Borough of Broxbourne to promote local and regional apprenticeship and employment opportunities. There were a wide range of companies and sectors represented ranging from retail, manufacture, media, construction, public services and many more. The students all gained a great deal of information and advice about upcoming opportunities and how to enhance their applications. They were also able to make some industry specific contacts which will certainly prove invaluable in the future.
