The Sixth Form dress code is extremely important at The John Warner School. Sixth Formers are role models for our younger students and it is important that they lead by example in all areas. We have found that students who are dressed smartly are focused and have a sense of identity and pride about being a member of the Sixth Form.
Female students are required to attend school wearing a full suit (skirt and matching jacket, or trousers and matching jacket) with a plain top underneath. They should wear sensible dark shoes. Boots, sandals, trainers and plimsolls are not permitted.
Male students are required to wear a full suit (trousers and matching jacket) with a smart shirt and tie. Cardigans and jumpers are not permitted as an alternative to a jacket. Shoes should be dark and smart. Plimsolls and trainers are not permitted.
Extreme hair colour and facial piercings are not permitted.
